About Us
North Central Agri-Power Inc. was founded April 1, 2000. Norm Welker of
Winamac, Indiana and Carl Ault from Rochester, Indiana purchased S & W
Equipment, which was the local CaseIH dealer in Winamac, Indiana. The
dealership started as a Case Company store in 1970 and in 1989 it became
S & W Equipment. Both Norm and Carl are local farmers and loyal CaseIH
customers wanting to see the dealership continue on in Winamac.
On July 1, 2001 North Central Agri-Power Inc. purchased Reese Equipment
the CaseIH dealership in Plymouth Indiana. Reese Equipment had been an
IH dealership since 1956. Steve Blackford, a long time salesman at Reese
Equipment joined Norm Welker and Carl Ault, in the partnership purchase
of Reese Equipment, previously located in downtown Plymouth. Steve
Blackford, who also owns interest in the Winamac store, manages the
N.C.A.P. Plymouth location. Land was purchased and a new facility has
been erected east of Plymouth on Hwy 30. February 1, 2004, N.C.A.P.
moved into the new facility.
